Nintendo is the absolutely best theme it comes to 1st party releases. They usually release more than Xbox and PS combined lmao. So I’m not worried about them rn. They got plenty coming this year that we know of already.
I’m genuinely more excited to see what 3rd party we’ll get. This is the first time in multiple generations that a Nintendo platform will get high end AAA games and that excites me

StardustNintendo markets games quickly these days. One month rollout at best, unless its a game that has gotten delayed. MP4 was on 3 directs and was playable at the switch 2 events for example, and it will get more attention as we approach its release.
In terms of first party games, we got MP4, Pokemon Legends, Kirby air riders, splatoon raiders and hyrule warriors age of imprisonment that at the latest are releasing in Winter, which could mean up to february 2026. Funnily enough all of these bar Pokémon are not dated, which i guess is what the September direct will be mostly for. But to me that doesnt seem like an empty lineup, far from it actually. If It was, then i honestly wouldnt know how to describe ps and Xbox's lineups the past 5 years.
Switch 2's first holiday season 6 months in could have 5 exclusives and 2 cross gen games, thats honestly pretty good.
