i just wonder how many seasons were planned at first and if it’s being extended at all now

the trouble with any movies or shows with so many mysteries is the quality gets graded retroactively based on the answers to those questions

Man one of my fav shows ever but S2 felt a lil underwhelming. Some episodes literally felt like filler, E7 was great and then E8 with cobel was short af and boring. Finale was pretty good but I can wait for next season whereas S1 I couldn't stop thinking about after I was done. Prolly shoulda been like 6-8 episodes long since it felt like the creators didn't know where to really take it

Yeah, at the end of the day I’m happy that it was still generally great tv. Just insane expectations. Hasn’t f***ed with my love of the show or excitement for 3. But we should be weary. Let’s wrap this story up and get out clean. Season 3 should be the final one.

i really dont think this show needs any spin offs, i think a lot of the fun from watching the show is not knowing a lot of whats going on outside of Severance or how Lumon really came to be.

There's a lot of juice and stories to be told but i dont want those to tarnish the quality of the original show.

Unfortunately spin offs can often times cause story inconsistencies or different threads can get tangled and convoluted.

I am in love with the world of Severance so I would never say no to more content within that world but they really have to knock it out of the park to not mess with the OG.

Severance video game kinda has my interest though

Severance video game in the style of Dead By Daylight with 4 employees completing secret tasks throughout the day to escape at the end without getting caught by Milchick/Cobel/security

Milchick saying "devour feculence" is some of the corniest s*** like...was that meant to be badass

Milchick has some potential for great background and lore though. The editor for the newspaper in the Lexington Letter is “Jim Milchick,” unknwown if it’s a cousin, sibling or anyone else but there’s definitely something there, if they even end up using their pre established lore.

i agree it’s kinda lazy and i don’t really want anything other than the main Severance show, but there’s definitely potential and groundwork laid for those types of stories.
