trade school the only hope kids got left if they dont get scholarships. Then starting your own business from that trade after you get the hang of how the business works
Terrible advice
I went to trade school (HVAC) and took out a loan to open up a cafe. I had to close it after 8 months.

I think it’s just that pushing trade school as a one size fits all path to making money could be perilous, as it was for coders. There’s a cap on how many people we need for both paths, and once we’re past that cap that experience decreases in value drastically
symptom of collapse

If it aint STEM, Law, or Medical, them other majors are an active scam. A business degree might as well be toilet paper.
These being the only viable options has had me feeling indecisive & suicidal for 6 years now as a 2019 hs grad who’s still in college lmao
nothing a firm handshake and good attitude cant fix. these new grads have the gen z stare
how are these averages being calculated? Presumably this is primarily based around rather HCOL areas cuz I was making like 35k starting in 2018 and I’m now making 75k and I have a senior position
My first job out of college back in 2010 I started at $13.25 an hour. The next year I got a 10 cent raise lol.
