the end of this game is so wild. I kno that the genre shift is gonna be jarring but I can’t help but smile during the bullet hell boss. The narration from the boss too is like some real Different s\*\*\* for a sonic game. Idk if it’ll click for everyone but jesus that s\*\*\* hits

my favorite dialogue from the boss is when she says something along the lines "i looked into all those you've fought in the past. they were all just robots and gods. they were all finite. I am infinite"

Also i just found out that sage is literally voiced by the girl who voiced Rei in the netflix versions of Eva on top of the Japanese dub being the OG Rei for Sage too they are so obvious with these parallels but somehow this s*** just works they r cookin smthn for the sonic universe fr

Curious on what Sage's role in future games will be. Since she clearly loves her father. But she seems to also view Sonic as a friend.

Could see her being an occasional boss fight in future games. But after the fight she says stuff like "I wish you and father didn't have to be enemies". And then also see her being and occasional alley, and helping out on some missions(unbeknownst to Eggman)

Since it seems like we're back in the 2000s era type stories, I imagine Eggman isn't gonna be the MAIN main villain anymore, aside from 2D games

i beat this yesterday 7.5-8/10

Easily the best 3d Sonic game in a min. The open world s\*\*\* fits so well for sonic it's crazy. Kinda loses steam at the end especially with the lame ass final boss but i still had a good time. The story is okay again feels like it loses its steam at the end, but it was nice for a sonic game to finally remember the other games exist. Ost is F\*\*\*ING HEAT pretty upset i can't find some songs from here.

Mad they not officially dropping the OST on streaming platforms until December 7th. They knew damn well they dropped crack, and not trynna gives us our fix

Despite how hard the Titan themes go, I think this is my favorite vocal songs in the game.
It feels so 2000s-Era Sonic-y, and really incapsulates the theme of the entire series imo.

Loved like 95% of this game with the other 5% being almost entirely Chaos Island.

Combat would be so much better if it had a bit more skills and some enemies had a bit more health too, Master Ninja fight definitely checks you for mashing
