something something something a character in the game says "It imported the data of your memories and applied it to your surroundings so you could comprehend them."

i think they're trying to compare it to a dream, like the idea that dreams r unconscious thoughts presented to you through familiar representations or whatever

i guess the repetitive types of aesthetics is supposed to be reflective of sonic's strong memories or smthn. idk. i do think it feels kinda dreamlike tho running thru a sky sanctuary dragon road or chemical plant metal harbor

Hmm.. so in the sonic storyline is sky sanctuary like hella significant? Like were the events that occured on that level super significant compared to others in the sonic storyline? I love sky sanctuary so I'm not complaining, just trying to understand.

city - eggman? tbh i don't have a good rzn from the past games to specifically explain that 1. only rzn why that 1 connects to me is that when u see eggman in cyberspace, he's only ever in the city environment

coulda been what they were goin for. either way it wasn't fleshed out enough to be really Readable and is more just kinda "we'll lowkey handwave this explanation away in game and u can just figure it out urselves we wanna reuse these assets"
