True… but you just cherry picked the worst exclusives
Xbox in the past decade plus doesn’t have anything to contend with bloodborne, tlou pt.2, god of war, returnal/saros, Astro bot, etc
And those are the ones people be gassing. Look at people salivating over Wolverine
Ragnarok wasn’t great, last of us 2 wasn’t great, yotei was mid. What does first party sony truly have? Astro bot?
The best Sony exclusives are Japanese games that just skip Xbox because they don’t bother developing games for it but most of those you can get on PC and will be able to get on Helix
So if you ever actually bought anything they won’t delete your account
Isn’t that good and not what we’re talking about
It's good if they actually don't delete your account... But this still does sound like you shouldn't be surprised if it eventually happens... Which could happen if your account is inactive for like 5 years.
So we need as gamers to let Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo etc. know that we're not okay with this.
Starfield and Avowed are no worse than dog ass games like horizon and spider man let’s be completely honest. They’re all in the same boat.
Spiderman is absolutely not dog ass and even HZD has a decent gameplay loop/feel with the bow and arrow. Those games are not nearly as bad as Starfield
Also, while Sony has GoW, TLOU etc what good exclusives do Microsoft have? S*** is a Forza machine at this point
I know bro talking out of his ass and never played any of those PS Exclusives because he's naming s*** like Spiderman instead of Days Gone or Forspoken

Well I was trying to be fair to Xbox but if you’re saying pc means it’s not exclusive then Xbox loses basically all its games lol
Meanwhile ps5 does actually have some games that aren’t on pc, like Saros, which was really impressive. Also not a Japanese game so that counters your point. Intergalactic is on the way too, and Kena 2 looks great as well, there’s more to look forward to than Wolverine.
Even if you didn’t like gow ragnarok or tlou2 personally you have to admit they won a lot of awards, acclaim, and sold amazingly
Sure...
https://twitter.com/i/status/2074082996211372312"Yes, Microsoft deletes Xbox/Microsoft accounts after two years of inactivity, but you can prevent this Microsoft account activity policy. The account will not be closed if it has an active subscription, unspent balance, published items on the Microsoft Store, or associated purchases/earned certifications Does Microsoft delete inactive accounts? : r/xbox - Reddit."
"Microsoft will close your account if you don't sign in for 2 years. However, your account is exempt from deletion if you have any active subscriptions, unspent balances, or a history of purchasing Microsoft content. Additionally, your Gamertag may be released back to the public pool after 5 years of inactivity."
"If you haven't signed in to your account for more than two years, it may have been deleted, so you can no longer reopen the account."
Again all these companies have exemptioms if any purchases are made. EU/GDPR does not force companies to delete your purchased games or accounts after three years which people keep misquoting. That is a corporate policy. EU law is about keeping your data for as long as they are fulfilling a contract with you...like providing you access to the digital games you paid for. I get why corporations would remove accounts that have no purchases...there's crazy number of ghost, abandoned, bots accounts so there should be some sort of purge instead of taking storage resources. With the other companies quoted they are explicitly still protecting consumers. Sony is choosing to wipe accounts and delete whole libraries. It's insane especially with Sony going all digital in the near future
God the d*** sucking y'all do for Corps is so funny. Apple taking away the headphone jack and people being okay with it was the first sign that people are sheep

Say you’re right what about the reliability issue

That happened with older versions of Bluetooth because data packets got lost so you’d drop or stutter but Bluetooth in the 2020s doesn’t have that issue anymore

Had a sound bar I bought this year that did. Immediately returned it for a wired one
But you do what you love brother!
why do people hate this? With the advent of Steam it seemed pretty obvious that gaming was heading in that direction
that said, as someone who collects vinyl, I empathize with the people that hate this and love their discs

It's not just about collecting but removal of choice. Sony wants PSN to be the only shop in town for PlayStation players because they get a much larger cut from the digital sales than discs. Phasing out physical retailers by making the new physical copies (plastic cases with a code printed on a slip inside) unappealing or not sending any at all kills off their competition (and 2nd hand market), lessening their need to provide competitive sales for your dollar. Yes, PC has Steam but it also has Epic, GOG, itch.io and D2C storefronts/launchers. Plus, you actually have a bit of control over the files themselves for modding, removal of DRM, patches, preservation etc. — something unavailable on the closed platform that is PlayStation.

A***ysts and Sony boys think Sony is going to offer digital ownership goodwill 🤣😭😭

Well I am not fine with any company doing it... So Sony or not so does this have to change tbh.
