unless told otherwise my canon is that Vader went directly towards here right after being put in the suit to investigate.

i dont agree with this couple reasons why

1. There is canon comics that explain what happened after his suit reconstruction
2. They did not just change to imperial era gear in matter of days
3. The wreckage looks fairly old at this point

Vader knew Ashoka was not dead (i wont spoil why) and i think this is couple years later maybe 4 to 6 years later
