Terry it's bigger than any other dlc character in LA/China

well Plant was free and a VERY good idea (there's literally no other fighter like him at all) since he's from Mario universe

The Hero is a sword-fighter but with a twist, like Link and Cloud and also a VERY high in demand character considering how massive DQ is around the world

and Banjo is another unique fighter who's a classic 3rd party Nintendo character with high fan demand, if he didnt have the range in his smash attack he'd be TERRIBLE to play as though

all in all, those 3 alone are much more unique, creative and entertaining than Terry and Byleth

You gotta remember he's japanese, so the things he finds worth including and the things we find worth including are different.

Like Doomguy and Master Chief are popular in the West, but in the East they dont really play FPS games like that, and the Xbox sold poorly out there. Banjo was kinda popular in japan, so they had ideas for him, but i wouldn't be surprised if Sakurai didnt see a difference in Doomguy and any other military man
