DCU is a bunch of random side stories and James Gunn films as the main storyline

Getting a woman writer and director to tell their own story feels like a lay up . Adapting the given comic feels like an odd choice

The challenge with building a universe is getting people to care about and show up for all of the ancillary character-led films

Right now Supergirl looks DOA

Clayface looks like a good film, but it’s most likely not gonna make that much money

Outside of that, they have zero other films with an actual release date after Man of Tomorrow

It seems like they have Superman figured out but everything else is kind of up-in-the-air at the moment
