Bro, you from UK right? This might sound stupid but i wonder if growing up in the UK has some effect on this. I say it's sounds stupid because i understand both bands are english lol but i feel like The Smiths are a little more on the depressing side, and I've seen a lot of friends actually relate more to their music just because of how gloomy/depressing it can be out there i guess. It's not like The Cure ain't got depressing moody ass s*** either, but every time i hear "And if a double-decker bus..." i'm just like man this s*** is wild haha. NOT saying that it's like that for everybody, because i actually like that gloomyness, but yeah
