if you've been playing valorant since release i can honestly see why you might think the combat is trash but that doesn't make it bad

really surprised you feel this way about the gameplay. imo, the gameplay in part 2 takes everything great about part 1 and builds upon it. the atmosphere and tension when i'm in a battle with other human enemies is something i definitely didn't feel in the first game. in the first game, even on higher difficulties it literally felt like i could just run around and be fine - in this i'm literally playing as meticulously as possible so i don't waste ammo or resources.
also, i haven't run into any glitches or bugs so far in the game.
Here is a bug. The last hour I have been playing this game this text has been stuck on my screen. I hold down square and nothing happens. Press square and nothing happens. Nothing would make it go away.
(If this is considered a spoiler I will unembed it)
Also other bugs like I said Ellie crouching when I need her to go through a tight space instead. Dina blocking your path causing you to die, ect.

never had this happen to me
if restarting the game doesnt fix it idk why its happeningalso, i think ai companions blocking you was a waaayyyyy bigger issue in the first game. in fact, i was literally playing part 1 last week and there were countless times that ellie would block a doorway. i think they did a better job in part 2 in fixing that issue specifically

ngl most of the time I was running and using my melee weapon. got a few good head shots in but those damn dogs.

I got on Valorant after playing 2 hours of this game and my aim was off in Valorant unlike normal.
This game has terrible shooting and if it’s not actually terrible it feels terrible.

Only 3.5 hours into this game but this game is bad and highly dissapointing.
The combat controls feels very wonky, the story is terrible, the characters aren’t that likeable, and the combat relies too much on hand to hand combat and stealth which I don’t remember using nearly as much in the first game.
The first TLOU is a top 10 game ever for me but this game is such a downgrade in every way possible except for the graphics and maybe world design.
Can you tell us why the story is terrible?

tbh 10 hours in this game s***s all over the first one. atmosphere is better, combat is better, the slow moments are better, flashbacks make the story more well-rounded, exploration is far superior etc. the first one is amazing but this is on another level so far

Jun 21, 2020·editedI actually like this game more than the first. Combat is a lot smoother and not as clunky as the first. Switching between shooting and melee is fun too.

this easily the most beautiful game on ps4, maybe rdr2 comes close, but that doesnt have the cinematic feel this one does, its amazing
