I’ve seen hopeful interpretations of the ending, that her leaving the guitar behind is her finally getting over Joel’s lie and his death and not having it weigh her down anymore and that she’s heading to Jackson to find Dina and JJ

With all these space references, it’s gotta be a sci fi game

After that hospital level I’m all in for a ND-developed sci-fi horror game

playing as abby felt so forced and contrived i just do not find her likeable at all

this ending felt pointless but i'd rather that than another game starring her

Idk why but the scene in the end where Ellie and Dina kiss and Joel pops up at the end kinda f***ed me up. We already saw almost that entire cutscene at e3 2018 but seeing it in context of the game and including Joel in it now too really made my heart drop.

jesse died that s\*\*\* shook me, and then ellie pleading to let tommy live and i was like .. abby better not randomly kill tommy he doesnt deserve that! but then abby mentioning ellie killing all her friends made me feel like pure s\*\*\* LOL

one thing I don’t see mentioned a lot is Abby has no idea ellie is the one who killed her dog and friends. She thinks the whole time it was tommy which is why she shot tommy but let Dina and Ellie go I guess

i’m not sure really, i’m quite bad at explaining why i feel a way but the last few days i’ve spent all my time playing this game and it’s been an emotional journey. i don’t think any form of media has taken me on such an unpredictable and emotionally demanding ride - from rooting for ellie and feeling her pain and anger, thinking f*** abby fr, to feeling bad for abby and thinking that ellie maybe took things too far, and the way the game ends, it’s just left me like 0_0

i do love the game tho ahahah, gonna sleep on it and try and get all the collectibles next

This is easily the most emotionally taxing game I ever played

u be playing as ellie and joel killing everyone and their friends left and right then get upset when 1 of YOUR characters friends gets killed lol thats crazy

like this game makes u realize all those side characters are actual .. well not real people but like also characters with whole stories and families and friends

and then ppl get upset about 1 character getting killed

its a crazy journey

For someone who is usually positive on every game he plays Cohh gave this a 5/10. Said its pacing was 2/10.
