The Fall-Off was a highly anticipated album that didn’t stick around at all with the general public. Its’ pure sales figure from the first week was a marker of how anticipated it was, not how successful it was longterm.

It’s the same concept as a song debuting at #1 on the Hot 100 and then freefalling off of the chart after mere weeks (4X4, FRANCHISE, Trollz, etc.)
