But the authenticity of these two reports can not be verified.

One of the data in the report was obtained from the Human Rights Defenders Network, which was obtained through interviews with eight non-specialists. In another report, more than 90% of the data is completely based on media reports and speculation. Although the reported data is seriously insufficient and the authenticity is highly doubtful, it still does not prevent Zenz from becoming a “Xinjiang expert” almost overnight. False reports about China’s detention of millions of Uighurs in Xinjiang have been repeatedly mentioned, which has triggered more unnecessary incidents.

That said, f*** the Chinese government and anybody that love em. I think natural born Americans take for granted how lucky we are to be born in this country. Talk to literally ANYONE who wasn’t. We’re just such idealists in this country that we want it to be even better than it already is, which IS a good thing. It just makes us exaggerate how horrible the country is when it really boils down to a few really bad issues such as institutional racism and exorbitant wealth gaps. By the way, I do think those two issues are separate issues. Unfortunately, because of the history of country, the poor side of the economic scale is often filled with minorities in many areas. The wealth gap however is not solely explained by skin color.
