DAMN tracklist as a whole kind of pissed me off.

Specifically how almost every song title is in pairs “love lust, pride humble, blood dna” but then there’s the two groups of 3 at the end that don’t even really make sense with that concept

After love and lust it goes XXX, which at first I thought from the title it would be grouped with love and lust and having a p***ographic theme continuing lust themes. But instead it’s really just a song about America and the title XXX is just “censoring” the original title of GBA (god bless America) but even that title doesn’t make sense with the tracklist theme. So XXX just is kind of on its own but it does make way more sense coming after Fear on the collectors edition

Then that’s followed by a pair that actually makes sense Fear and God, but then it goes to Duckworth which again kind of feels like it could be more a group of 3 but it also kind of doesn’t make sense especially after already losing the plot in the last couple tracks

Also lowkey what is the connection between Yah and Element, I guess nature vs nurture but I always felt like that connection could’ve been stronger. Kind of the same with Loyalty and Feel, like I kind of get that one is about having relationships and one is about introverted but I just felt like the way the titles were laid out and the way his other albums were it made me expect more

I honestly spent way too much time trying to make sense of that album. Playing it backward really is superior, literally the only way the album actually makes sense if if you listen to it from front to back and then from back to front in the same sitting, and that’s not convenient I could talk about this all day. Definitely a similar thing of the tracklist presentation just itching my brain
