I wouldn’t call this the scariest of the year. There was some very good moments for sure.

first dream sequence was great, a few of the tapes were really good. The expo dumps about Abyzou were eh, could have been better. I felt the end got a little messy. The pacing was good I felt.

Hokum will beat it though.

I knew they were setting up an evil background scare with all the shots of different rooms in the background. Lot of good panning shots too, felt a little Skinamarink-ish which I love

Last twenty minutes of this movie called me a p**** and got away with it

brah the sound design in Dolby is scary as f*** wtf

First 30 minutes are slow but after that it puts its foot on your neck, last twenty is genuinely some of the scariest horror I’ve seen in years

very solid, effectively creepy throughout, breezy runtime too

F*** I forgot the moment where it turns up, I took a mental note but now I forgot. I know exactly when you’re talking about too
