I mean the ps4 is 9 years old and it plays game at 1080p, the low res of the steamdeck (900p) is why it’s able to get performance on the scale of a console from 2013

it’s not that insane. switch came out 5 years ago and it plays Witcher 3 at 30fps like ps4 does, albeit with worse graphics but still, on the tiny screen it matters less just like with steam deck

it is that insane right now cause same performing handhelds like this cost upwards of $1000 and valve is selling this for $400

and switch settings for witcher 3 is like one of those meme skyrim worst settings mods and looks like trash.. phawk just showcased witcher 3 medium / high settings (pc settings) at 60fps

but when you compare oled to regular switch it also looks drastically better, so there’s an argument for both oled-switch and steamdeck when it comes to games like Witcher 3, skyrim, disco Elysium etc.
