bro was on tyler travis and drake album without one certified good song of his own

  • Purrp

I’m over it too but I do think the beef f***ed his rollout ngl seemed it was def picking up for a spring or summer 2024 drop

Prob went back to the drawing board or been dealing with personal issues

It definitely did. Either Kendrick told him to sit back or he was in the studio for those songs either way it’s been almost two years since that. Jay Z retired then unretired in 3 years

He’s had some great features but hasn’t put it together on his solo music for some reason

  • Jbreezyondeck

I know people say don’t rush music but some of these guys act like they’ve earned their stripes off the jump

He was on albums by guys who are well established enough to not need mandated features

I think the possibility that your favorite artists working with other artists they think are dope despite you not caring for them escapes you guys

This is true but most artists also don't feel as though they are too good for a check too

Drake and Tyler aren’t the type of artists to force a feature on an album “for a check.”

I'd imagine that Tyler (who also sucks) actually likes him and I definitely feel like if he was offered enough money modern drake would do this

Do you think he did some "workshops" with Drake and Tyler? How else did he wind up in their good graces?

for what it’s worth, his manager has been the Senior Marketer of LVRN since 2021 that’s a big connection can’t lie. Tunde Balogun (LVRN creator) is CEO of Def Jam all the behind the scenes networks exist

  • I kinda like some of his features but his album was god awful, like offensive to listen to I remember starting to get annoyed near the end

  • whippet volverse

To be fair, he was on a wild feature run. I think he has the style to spice up a track, but on his own, the music doesn't grab you too heavily.
Regardless of being 'organic' or not, maybe he just didn't have what it took to measure up to the hype in that breakthrough moment

definitely spiced up many tracks from drake to tyler to travis, but I listened to like 30 seconds of a solo track and had to get up outta dea with the quickness

Drake called that teezo album "some of the best music ever"

I need to believe there is some type of payment involved behind the scenes or a favor or something
