Wayne has a stronger mixtape catalog than solo album catalog.
That said, there's a strong argument for the first 3 Carters being classics.

People bend the definition more than a gymnast on here depending on how much they like the rapper.
Wayne is my GOAT tied with Nas but I still keep it objective.
C2
C3
C4
D2
DD3
NC
Are all classics. No other rapper can compete.
Not even included C5, LFLS, C1, D5 and D6
We’re talking about the GOAT here.

I usually dont care since ppl exaggarate everything here but doing this s*** with the word ''classic'' kinda undervalues the real classic
there shouldnt be more than 15-20 classic albums in a single genre, but since hiphop got so many subgenres you can add a lil more to that but calling albums without no influence or any groundbreaking innovation classic just because they are good is ignorant imo

C2 and C3 are certified classics, there is no arguing. Also people really be underrating Wayne's album catalog - Lights Out, C1, 2, 3, 4, 5, FWA, IANAHB, LFLS, Collegrove, Welcome 2 Collegrove, Funeral. Even Rebirth and IANAHB2 have so many classic songs in them

Look. I'm a huge Wayne fan.
Been listening to him since I was a literal child.
Wayne's albums are VERY inconsistent in quality compared to many other rap legends even though his mixtapes make up for it.
Damn near Eminem tier even.
Most albums in general have at least some good songs on them even if they're mid or underwhelming as a whole.
Wayne would've benefitted strongly from having a better executive producer than Baby who would trim the fat or doing albums with a primary producer like Currensy and Gibbs have done.

which Wayne albums you think are inconsistent or underwhelming?
also it's time to refer to Carter 3 Sessions as ALBUM songs because they are original songs MEANT for a album. There is no arguing about it, Wayne has more great ORIGINAL songs than any other rapper in history.
the only ones as far as original songs goes are Nas and Eminem(we can't even count Kanye because he has like 100 great songs and most of them have like 100 people working on them)

Off the dome, I think his pre Carter 1 albums fit that bill easily. There's strong songs on there but a lot of filler tracks too and he didn't really find anything to bridge many of the songs together to make the albums stand out.
Then there's both IANAHB albums which I felt were underwhelming, especially the 2nd one. It just seemed like Wayne took a cool concept exploring his Martian persona and did nothing but throw a bunch of songs together, some good some bad.
The Fix before C6 was trash. Rebirth is trash. Funeral was okay but, once again, abandoned the very concept he initially promoted it as, which made the album not stand out at all.
The Collegrove albums were solid but not classic. I feel the same way about C4 and C5 too. Solid albums with some classic songs but not classic.
Wayne is in my GOAT list so I'm holding him to GOAT standards. Obviously, Wayne has a better catalog than the likes of Ja Rule and Nelly but he's on a way higher level than them so I measure his albums against other GOATs.

This might actually be a strong contender for the worst post on this site.
first time in my life i have ever seen someone call like father like son a classic
This
I refuse to believe any Birdman project being "classic" as canon
