eh the guitar is too loud for me I cant really hear the voice, it gets better towards the end for me

This is cool, def piqued my interest for Ok Human now. Love that cover too although I imagine it's not an official one.

yeh it’s fanmade

the cover is rough recording but you can see through the incredible catchy rivers penned song

however reminder, the fan did it in the white album fashion: okh will not have guitars! all orchestra strings, so it will be drastically different, ill have to find some of the snippets but it sounds grandiose and not as cheesy as i doubt it could’ve been, he really seems to have pulled it off, took out his harvard knowledge and took that s*** seriously

here’s one of the clip super small hard to make anything out of it but it gives you some sense of perspective on how it’s gonna come off

@Terry it’s hard to share some of the gems bc little is being put on yt but someone finally put out this make believe era original song that we never heard of before and i love, verses are super pinkerton esque

unfortunately this is the acoustic take only, it doesn’t do the song just right justice, rivers reworked that for everything will be alright in the end and made it electric, with bass drums everything and it sounds killer, there’s a great weezer dramatic traditional guitar solo in it

it’s crazy he has now abandoned this song... 😩😩

and it is with great emotion i bring you all the news that rivers has updated the market with a demo of “bottle of wine”

the 1993 demo from which the only audio we had from was this clip:

it’s as good as i dreamed of it to be, so breezy, so mellow and bluesy... it’s a crime he never did anything out of it, i was hoping he didn’t release it bc it was one of the songs he was still holding into but now it’s up there it seems he has no interest in it, it’s a shame, rivers has been mentioning it few times now that after ok human he’s leaning on to do a full acoustic album, how is this song not a perfect cut for that theme???

here’s also “ive thrown it all away” also a 1993 demo that will however be on van weezer - noted it’s a jason cropper (weezers original second guitarist) cowrite, the audio here promptly cuts at the end, maybe he edited out some outro that is the section jason collaborated to
