how do you feel mentally and physically?
does it bother you that you cant do the things you enjoy
been sick with the flu and i cant go to the gym i hate having that lack of energy feel too and that tired feeling plus i am diabetic type 1 and having the flu has effected my blood sugars so much that it has been high for a very long time and plus always being on top of my diabetes is another stress in its self
sorry just venting a bit
was sick last week my legs felt weak but felt fine after laying down for 6 hours and then ran 5K the next day
Sometimes it feels like a much needed soft reboot, sometimes it’s a total drag.

yes I can't tolerate it at all and take vitamin c & zinc to avoid it. if i do i instantly go get the real sudafed with pseudoephedrine from the pharmacy, it's cheap especially the generic and it's a miracle cure when you're sick. especially for opening sinuses
the influence on yr mental is massive tbh.
I've actually found it one of the most sure-fire signs that I'm getting sick again when I'm suddenly rly depressed for no reason, that's usually the day before I have any actual cold symptoms.
also I think getting Cov at least 7x (only tested, prob at least double if not triple) most def f***ed my immune long term. even taking B, C, D etc vits every day it's been getting easier to count the days I'm not sick rather than vice versa in winter...
spent most of Nov and Dec filling tissues
feels incredibly self defeating, particularly post covid and especially with how isolating winter already tends to be.
just got over one and spent days in bed on some full body sore s*** cus i didnt want to spread anything
also frustrating when u did everything for prevention (fluids, rest, supplements) and it still happens. only silver lining is {falsely?} thinking im invincible against getting infected by anything else while dealing w it
i dont usually call out; just show up w a mask and social distance. this was the only time i did cus i dont have a full time job anymore so the fear of getting fired/infracted wasnt as prominent
i hate that my brain seems like it's operating at a lower level than usual and people look at me like i got steaming turds hanging out of my mouth.
I had this during my bout with covid last year.
I ain't talking about discussing subjects to a extensive degree, it's more like struggling to form sentences and losing your train of thought y'know
