    Honestly the “mid” career bc its subjective and Id get to be creative my entire life and if im able to maintain a career for a long time that s*** is classic to somebody lol

    What if it’s 1 classic then you never dropping music again. Just 1 classic album then back to normal life, or you can drop only mid for an entire music career.

    one classic for endless tour, festival, feat and apperance money + opening my own indie label to coast on

    a true cultural classic opens a lot of doors, goodwill n behind the scenes oppurtunities for a long time in nearly any genre

    But then you only get paid once. What if you drop a classic but you only get like one record deal signing bonus, you got a classic but you working as an accountant at a Big 3 firm or smthn.

    If Nas only dropped Illmatic, niggas would still talk about him like God
    (& he dropped so much more)

    Having just one classic is a powerful stamp
    & they hold much more weight than a classic mixtape or single, that 40-78 minutes will have you stamped in this game

    honestly i dont think so. I think him dropping other albums kept his name alive more.

    He would have had to die for it to be enough.
