What’s your favorite song on the moment? What’s a memory that brings you back to the first time you heard it.
This album and it's aesthetics for the time is heavily influential, I don't care what anyone says.

Even with all the stuff he was going through at the time, he was still able to translate it into good art. The album isn't perfect but nothing else in Hip Hop really sounds like MOTM2.

Scientists still trying to figure out how this mf made Ghost!
They say it's forbidden knowledge
2013-14.
3-4 years removed from that era. Listening to Cudi for the first time during my high school days was life-changing s***. His music got me through a lot of down days as a teen, who hated himself a lot.
Now I’m an adult and although I’m feeling it more than ever. I’m been holding strong with his music and a whole bunch of other things that’s been influencing me to this day not to give up.
With that said, Thank you Cudi❤️
I’m literally arguing with my homie rn about this or MOTM
why we just sitting here exchanging different lyrics from both albums lmfaooo

MOTM is the better album, but MOTM2 is the better, more influential piece of art. He brought a true punk attitude into Hip Hop during a time where that wasn't accepted. He polarized and fascinated alot of people with MOTM2.

This album in tandem with MBDTF kind of set that new tone
I witnessed a man kick the homie out of his house mid blunt for saying this wasn't top 5 oat this album rewired mfs dna
This one of the first albums that made me realize how good music could be when smoking weed, I listened to the leak for the first time on Halloween, I felt like I was inside the music and I swear I saw a whole stage play in my mind with Mr Rager
I think the concept of this album is kind of slept on too. It’s not as on the nose with the narration on MOTM1 but the story and layers is really interesting. I think it goes deeper than people realize
