The album that made white people feel like they could have opinions on rap music
I’m literally arguing with my homie rn about this or MOTM
why we just sitting here exchanging different lyrics from both albums lmfaooo
MOTM 1: 9/10
MOTM 2: 10/10
was relistening recently and yeah this album is incredible and was mad ahead of its time. didn't click for me in the same way as motm & indicud at the time for whatever reason
Literally no skips i cant believe how many times i ran this album back to back with motm1
His flows are just
this nigga got Mary J. singing his melodies, albums like this deserve to be properly discussed man. 5th listen today
A timeless classic, and there really is no debate tbh.
I have very vivid memories of buying the CD for this album from Bestbuy as a teen, and watching the dvd that came with it as soon as I got home
Man on the Moon 1 and 2 had such a giant impact on me. And Cudi is the main reason I started wearing slim jeans and converse, it was so dope to see a young black man dressing like that and making it look cool
OP A B****
BUT THIS ALBUM CLASSIC 💯
MOTM is the better album, but MOTM2 is the better, more influential piece of art. He brought a true punk attitude into Hip Hop during a time where that wasn't accepted. He polarized and fascinated alot of people with MOTM2.
i wouldnt say punk is the right word ngl

yea imo MOTM2 def better
Cudi and Ye
The days when they couldn't miss and influenced so many. Cudi easily the best dressed at the time too
Doubled down on the emotional vulnerability of MOTM and MOTM 2 is so much better for it
Don't Play This Song is still one of my faves
