I did a video on Chaotic Good and their marketing campaigns and one of the takeaways I had is that it's impossible to tell who isn't paid for their opinions at this point. Watching the tiffany day stuff on twitter recently (even though I like her music) made me realize most of this s*** is just paid marketing campaigns either working or not working

but on ktt2 for as much as we joke about it or just argue about the same 4 rappers repeatedly, at least this discourse isn't label-funded slop

so salute to yall I actually think this site is incredibly important to the ecosystem of music discourse. thank you to everyone on here for making me feel like I'm not wasting my time when I talk about music on the internet

It ain’t about the numbers it’s about the potential for quality discourse. Doesn’t mean there won’t be dumbass threads every day. Just means the untapped nature of the forum and the fact that it doesn’t make a lot of financial sense to astroturf narratives on here keeps it pure
