yes and no. they may not be gettin paid here (wouldnt be surprised if someone was tbh) but there’s def a lot of bias and disingenuous takes here. some even inspired by those other social media sites
most humans are biased
oh yeah? explain the constant chimp1 threads then
We're covering the guy with the torch.
most humans are biased
any time you quote me, i know you’ve added nothing of value to the conversation at hand
Unfortunately KTT lost its spot in pop culture to Reddit/discord. Early to mid 10s KTT was the taste makers
Reddit ain’t taste making s*** lmaoooo

This, it's just as bad here because everyone is also influenced by the same social media

It’s definitely a problem but I wouldn’t say everyone. We have some good and thoughtful users on here
And that's because music discourse on social media at this point cannot be trusted as legitimate and not paid
!https://youtu.be/IPGxCvqslg8I did a video on Chaotic Good and their marketing campaigns and one of the takeaways I had is that it's impossible to tell who isn't paid for their opinions at this point. Watching the tiffany day stuff on twitter recently (even though I like her music) made me realize most of this s*** is just paid marketing campaigns either working or not working
but on ktt2 for as much as we joke about it or just argue about the same 4 rappers repeatedly, at least this discourse isn't label-funded slop
so salute to yall
I actually think this site is incredibly important to the ecosystem of music discourse. thank you to everyone on here for making me feel like I'm not wasting my time when I talk about music on the internet
lets go hadji

discord was the nail in the coffin for forums. It made sure no hipster or anti-media movement can gain momentum. It's too fast and responsive when having discussions.
You'd struggle to name more than 15 users in here who have decent knowledge + possess the ability to have a good discussion. We are not that many valid users unfortunately, but it's not much better elsewhere

Idk if the number is true but I think the idea you’d have to be able to name the users for them to be valuable posters is flawed, there’s plenty of good discussions happening throughout smaller threads on here every day
KTT2 is…
Someone convince @s to not call that shii lowkey

Ktt ain’t bought off like social media, but for sure suburban discourse on here don’t matter (unless you talkin about the pop/chatty patty side of ktt)
