I feel like the artwork for this was influenced by Pixar. Feels very high budget 2000s Disney “3d” core. The images of the bear in the school were dope in the moment as a kid. But the album art itself the proportions or way off and the bear is too small, the colors too dark. I’ve thought a lot about this. The cover and title for this really hold it back from getting its rightful flowers

The official certified units given on the most reliable database gives LR at 6.3 mil and Grad at 6.1 mil

And on further research, other numbers suggest that the actual numbers worldwide are 7 mil for Grad and 10 mil for LR

LR was a lot bigger in the moment if you were there so this makes sense. Both were huge moments but LR definitely moved way more CDs, Gold Digger was bigger than grad

Those are very old numbers (like 5+ years) as album hasn't been certified in years, Graduation has had a streaming renaissance since.

The numbers you cited in original post are using the old certification

According to your previous post the album has sold 6.1 mil overall and according to new certification it is 7 mil in america alone

@2words and all these numbers are without an official vinyl, if they released one it'd have sold way more. Most fans buy vinyls as physical media these days.
