Rose is another one. A completely pointless character put into TLJ. TLJ was a chance to make Poe and Finns friendship grow stronger. Instead they had a chick who almost gets Finn killed while saving him.

I think your criticism seems to be more so on her lack of character in terms of depth and intrigue akin to Reva or Jar Jar Binks.

I think what rubs me and others the wrong way is it comes off as you criticizing them for being “girl boss” characters when in these films that doesn’t seem to be the center focus of how they portray themselves in these films personally

Swap Leia out for random little guy and Reeva out for a male inquisitor, it would still be butt

He’s not a side character it just feels that way because of how poorly the whole show is coming together.

He went to help Leia, he is who Reeva is chasing, Reeva took Leia to get to him.

If Leia and reeva were operating in their own self contained story I’d get it a little bit but he’s the main character man he’s connecting the characters. He has the most screen time
