I’m thinking of getting the PlayStation arcade stick as well for games such as Tōkon and SF6, BUT I know that thing finna be expensive as hell (probably a similar price to the DualSense Edge - $160 USD).

And I’m still interested in a PS Portal, especially the 30th Anniversary edition..

Yeah there's too much stuff to get but not enough money for it... Like I would maybe be able to afford the Nintendo stuff if their 1st/2nd party games were on sale and then so would I just get a PS6/PS6 Pro and just focus on the very important stuff in terms of hardware/software and skip stuff I might not really need like an arcade stick, some speakers and the PS6 handheld unless I can somehow afford them.

But man Nintendo really did upset me with almost never putting their games on sale and if they do so is it only like $10 - $20 less than their regular price and it's only a once a year thing or whenever there's an anniversary like the Mario one every March for example.

So yeah I had to change my plans... But I'm now at least looking forward to the Nintendo Switch 2 (OLED) or well the one after it if Nintendo doesn't change their rules/mind in the next 2-4 years :/

Kirby air riders game feel is incredible, wouldnt expect less from sakurai

Oh i was talking about the air ride mode, the normal racing. Thats offline only unfortunately, i wanted to try It out against real people cause its very fun but cpu is easy.
Not that im complaining too much, city trial is so fun too. Its so funny when you go so fast you speed through the map in a few seconds and can hardly control your ride

How does it feel compared to the original? The OG game felt too floaty and I could never get into it

I never played the original, i was 2 when it came out and never was a gamecube kid, but every ride and character combo is different to control. You go from floaty to snappy to slick to tanky, and it feels so real and responsive man im pissed i cant play until tomorrow lol.
I mainly used Starman cause he funny and daroach wasnt in the demo roster but he felt floatier for example cause hes a flight based character. Magolor felt way cooler to control for example, very smooth

The city trial final minigames are also very fun, im not the biggest fan of the mecha dedede fight cause in this mode i prefer a Battle royale last man standing gameplay but the fight itself is cool. Will take some time to learn the map layout and how to exploit the events. Also never managed to find a single legendary ride part buy maybe they arent in the demo in the first place.
Killing people remains probably the best feeling you get playing It tho, the adrenaline of maybe chaining two consecutive kills, stealing their ride or their buffs or both maaaaan.
Ive seen some saying its too chaotic and i agree at first but all it takes Is a few runs to get familiar with the gameplay loop and it becomes much more manageable
