1 of the best games of the year, enjoy
Not sure how I feel about Kirby air riders yet.
Looked cool but now that I’m playing it ehhh idk
City trial is kinda meh so far. Seems like it’s 5 mins of collecting random items just to play a 10 second mini game at the end
And then we can even do the normal races online vs others?? Is it going to be like that in the main game too?
Also I feel like I never had to charge the pro controller 1 and now I feel like i always have to charge the pro controller 2 lol. It’s like the battery drains when I’m not using it

God no the main game will of course have full online
Guys I haven't watched the second kirby air riders direct or the trailer that dropped two days ago. I am so behind. But I will play it regardless.
Should I watch the 2nd direct?

Did you play the original kirby air ride? That's exactly what city trial was back then too

You can be a lot more proactive in city trial by defeating other players and heavily debuffing them, or stealing their vehicles. The main game is those 5 minutes, the minigames are to decide the actual winner.
And yes obviously the standard racing has online and a ranked system, its just this demo that for whatever reason doesnt have it

Its a fun watch so if you're interested in the game yeah sure
So is the main game gonna be just one round of 5 mins then the minigame and thats it????
I wanna prove my wins are not a fluke. Give us multiple minigames dawg

City trial is one of 4 game modes in the game. You play that 5 minute round and then a final minigame.
The only reason you don't feel your wins are earned is because you're not playing ranked, the demo doesnt have all characters and rides and the city trial demo doesnt have all items, minigames and events. You wont win as easily when you play against people who know what they're doing. When people you're playing against start actually fully minmaxing their builds just getting whatever you see wont be enough.
But i guess it is hard to see the potential of the mode in a demo
didnt know there was a demo for air riders but i been working all week i havent had a chance to game really
glad to see the performance is great for the most part

Yh don't think it's for me. Seems random as hell and chaotic. Maybe i just need to figure it out.
I just don't like losing i think. Played again and I'm enjoying now cos I'm wiping the floor with them all
Damn found my old GameCube memory card, but I finally threw out my GameCube platinum last week cause the lens reader has been spoiled for like 15 years now
Internet saying Kirby Air Riders is lacking in replayability/content
hmmmm
do I still cop?
(I put like 150 hours into Mario Kart when it launched but havent touched it since)

Play the demo next weekend if you have time and see for yourself! I think replayability depends on whether you gel with the gameplay. I kept playing city trial all the demo's duration and even now im craving it for example.
Also, expect the amount of content you usually find in smash with this game. The directs made it clear there's a lot of meat
