Then you truly haven’t seen terrible films in theater lol
Transformers The Last Knight is the last film I remember almost walking out of. Only reason I didn’t is because I saw it at a dine in lmao
I mean I don’t try to make a habit of seeing bad films in theaters fs
Last transformers I saw in full was Dark Of the Moon and I saw it back when cars had tv screens for kids so I couldn’t walk out if I wanted to lmao
George already did a legit VR jerkoff machine in his first movie, THX 1138.
george saw the vision 40 years early
Solo is the only movie I’ve ever actually wanted to walk out on in my life
Maybe bc I paid to see that s*** in premium or something but I was pissed
Watched Hobbs and Shaw in theaters I turn to my right and my cousin is knocked out
I turn to my left and my other cousin is visibly angry looking at the screen
we got into an argument in the parking lot about whos idea it was to watch the movie
idk if you need the word franchise in title but in for new thread

My only similar experience was avatar adaptation, GI Joe sequal, and Joss Whedon Justice League

never saw it in theaters but i was just thinking about that movie last night
i’m really into how movies look. i obsess over lighting, color, framing, sets, all of it
that one’s just dark blue and grey, barely lit, hard to even see what’s going on. just this ugly grey mush.
It was seen as a "return to form" by the critics at the time but with TLJ and Rise I think it earnt some retroactive criticism
"This will begin to make things right"
yeah i remember being one of the early critics, calling jj a hack but most people felt like it was finally in better hands after the buyout and that first movie. but once last jedi dropped, people started noticing the cracks, like how weird it was to just redo a new hope in a world where that already happened.
i always thought it felt unoriginal on release and i was already a prequels / clone wars defender. but still, the lightsaber fight, rey’s intro, and the mystery around her are really well done. it’s the easiest to watch of the sequels, even if last jedi is the more interesting one.

Can't wait for "The Force Awakens" revisionism with the 10th anniversary in December

GOTG v1, when Star Lord breaks into dance at the end, just completely took me out of the movie. Almost got up and left lol.
GOTG v2, bout half way into the movie, I just was not feeling the film. Solidified me not really being a James Gunn fan. I don’t think his movies make good theater experiences.
Moonlight, when it got to that beach scene. I had no idea the movie as even remotely about that, and realized in that moment I am not as much an “ally” as I thought of myself.
I had to physically keep myself restrained in order to not walk out. It was like instinctual, I was so ashamed

It’s also the definition of forgettable on top of being drab. I only remember I saw it every blue moon when I think of bad theater experiences
It’s a very ugly film

Hobbs & Shaw one of the only franchise movies I've seen in the past ten years or so where it made me genuinely agitated, like I thought it was literal garbage and aggressively agitating
People will s*** on Fast 8 or 9 or what have you and they're not very good AT ALL don't get me wrong, but they didn't feel anywhere near as horrid as Hobbs & Shaw. That s*** was total diarrhea dookie to me.

When Ryan Reynolds came out and was spoiling game of thrones for some reason I thought it was the worst movie I've ever seen
and then Kevin Hart walked in
cad bane arc in tales of the underworld was pretty good

very very old news but it's funny to hear his thoughts on it after all these years
Could you imagine. I think about 90 percent of psycho Star Wars fanboys would off themselves
