TCW got consistently good from about season 3-4 onwards. Been mandatory Star Wars viewing for a while now

If you’re ok with comics, I recommend the Star Wars: Republic comics from Dark Horse. Specifically the Battle of Jabiim from 2004 Issues 55-58. One of the most depressing and brutal Clone Wars stories.

I’d like to see a live action version of some of the battles the clones went through during TCW. Always thought that would make a cool show or one off film.

My dream for a new Star Wars trilogy would be for the films to be completely disconnected from the Skywalker Saga.

I’d want them to either make a trilogy that took place during the Old Republic, or thousands of years after the Skywalker Saga.
Disney has milked TF out of that era, and I’d really love to see them completely move on from it

Old Republic is gone. I've started reading some of the new novels, the High Republic ones. Bane and Revan are canon thanks to TCW, so idk where on the timeline they exist currently, but in the novels it makes it seem as if it's only been a few centuries since the High Republic's formation, as opposed to legends Republic founding being 25,000 years BBY iirc. They've only just started to essentially colonize the Outer Rim.
