mr get doughThe thing is I don’t even think Tyler would have much of a problem even doing that, I think the problem is Tyler needs to directly acknowledge the change and why he was ever like that.
I think Tyler has acknowledged that OF was crazy, he said offensive things, and he isn’t on that anymore as many times as he can. I think people want a deeper conversation where he says directly the way he interacted with black culture at times was off and sent the wrong message, which again I don’t think is a bad request at all. But people need to be more in depth about what they even want from him instead of recycling the same talking points that have already been addressed and on Tyler’s end its cool hes changed but I think he only highlights the change and could have a much deeper discussion if he highlighted what he changed from and why he felt the need to make that change
I also think it can be hard to acknowledge with Tyler because I think he looks at a public conversation like that as someone trying to like finger wag at him to apologize and he does not like that s*** lol

I know obviously he has black fans I was a big eminem fan as a kid but yeah maybe its a certain type of black person who feels that way
in NYC he had tons of black fans in the 2000s up until Recovery. You couldn’t say s*** about Em until like 2013 honestly.

There are most definitely valid critiques about him, even though I do think at times people overdo it and even though I think he’s taken more accountability than he gets credit for theres still a lot of room for a deeper conversation on it
I don’t mind the discourse I just don’t like how lazy it is. Lets actually have the conversation if we’re going to have it and lets stop repeating talking points that have been addressed and go deeper
