Its not lol
Same people will still bump abusers/ rapists if the music is good.
Let's not be obtuse

i mean there will always be people that will bump him (just like people bump certified woman abusers like The Beatles)
but im telling u this, if Tyler The Creator has a lawsuit tomorrow regarding being a rapist, his fanbase will care more about it than other rapper fanbases

Oh for sure I agree with that.
The quality of the music correlates with how little ppl care about their morality.
If its high, we care little. If its low, we care alot.
The quality (i dont personally agree) of those other people’s music to their fanbases is high
Versus the quality of drake and tyler’s recent music to their fanbases is um, well not so much.
@FKAemj mighta actually been right.
The bottom line is if Chromakopia or Dont Tap That Glass was Igor/Flower Boy levels good, this thread probably doesn’t exist (as op saw a tweet lol)
A lot of old tyler fans like @illegalnecessity that feel his new era has been watered down, this prolly poetic for them.
“You rebranded for these #newcrackers just for them to turn on you”

We should ask the OP of the thread if they would've made this thread if they liked his last album to confirm
who is the OP again?

A big portion of tyler fans said musically it was stagnant.
But you right it was overall prolly his biggest album so far

honestly don't get it, still his most personal album to date but I do feel he can be more introspective in the future.
Im half and half with chromakopia.
But I really did go into it thinking it was all gonna be like Noid

Never said anything bout lyrically, i said musically.
Yeah it’s tyler most personal but even in that it’s like…hey jane is kinda hella juvenile. (And i LOOOVE that beat)

I like it musically, I do wish it was more diverse like Noid but it's more or less a polished version of his typical sound signature.

I also think it dont help that it doesnt “seem” like tyler values it as much.

me too I was like oh s***
this album here finna be groundbreaking. thought he was going to lean more into a psychadelic rock back drop but yea it was really just a "mature" culmination of all his sounds. hated sticky and dont stop tho
all in all tho i actually fk w where chrom lies on his catalog. he needed one of those, a retrospective fall Tyler album, his first fall release since b****** i believe
